Chopped Camp, Ages 14-17

NOTE: THIS CLASS DOES NOT USE RECIPES! This camp is NOT geared towards kids who have never cooked a day in their life. Advanced skills are not required, but some sort of kitchen experience is preferred. This is a learning experience, but I don’t recommend this for absolute beginners. Kids who are comfortable in the kitchen will be good to go for this camp. PREFERENCE IS FOR KIDS WHO CAN COOK ON THEIR OWN.

Each day the kids will be given mystery ingredients that they will incorporate into a meal. NO RECIPES ALL WEEK!

The first day we will go over some kitchen basics, knife skills and where to find everything so people are on the same page and then start cooking!

Please let me know ahead of time if your child has any allergies or restrictions. It will help me when I shop to make sure I have ingredients on hand for all.

Cancellation Policy

For classes listed on the website calendar, there is a 24 hour in advance refund policy. No same day refunds, unless weather prevents class attendance. No call, no show do not get credit towards another class.

For summer camps, I need 5 days in advance for a full refund. There is a fee that I do not get back when you cancel and that will come out of your refund.

If you give less than 5 days, but more than 48 hours, I can credit you one future single day class. I cannot give any refunds or credits with less than 24 hours notice as I have already shopped for groceries by that point. No refunds for not showing up with any notice.

For birthday parties, I need at least 5 days notice for a full refund. If you give me less than 5 days notice, you forfeit the $100 deposit. If you need to reschedule your party, we can move your deposit towards the new date. If we can’t find a date that works, you either need to keep the original date or forfeit your deposit.
